Clinical Case Report Overview
This clinical case report presents observed functional and physiological changes in an elderly individual with chronic post-stroke impairment following a 45-day structured neurorehabilitation program incorporating NeuroReBorn™ Clinical Ultra as a supportive component.
Patient Profile
- Age: 65 years
- Clinical history: Prior stroke involving the left cerebral hemisphere
- Functional deficits at baseline: Right-sided weakness, impaired fine motor control of the hand, unstable gait, sensory disturbances, and reduced speech endurance
Baseline Clinical Monitoring
Prior to the intervention, structured monitoring revealed measurable asymmetry between the affected and unaffected sides.
- Multi-limb blood pressure: Lower values observed in the right arm and right leg compared to the left side
- SpO2: Mild desaturation during speech and light physical activity
- EEG (qualitative): Reduced alpha activity and increased slow-wave patterns over the left hemisphere
Rehabilitation Program
The patient participated in a 45-day rehabilitation program combining conventional functional exercises with NeuroReBorn™ Clinical Ultra used as a supportive tool.
- Upper limb training: Controlled reach, grasp, and release exercises targeting fine motor coordination
- Lower limb and gait training: Foot alignment, weight transfer, and short-distance ambulation
- Sensory stimulation: Paired sensory input with active movement
- Breathing and speech exercises: Breath control and progressive speech-length training
Observed Outcomes After 45 Days
At the end of the observation period, improvements were noted across multiple monitored parameters.
- Blood pressure symmetry: Reduced side-to-side differences between upper and lower limbs
- SpO2 stability: Improved oxygen saturation during speech and physical activity
- EEG patterns: Increased alpha activity and improved inter-hemispheric balance
- Functional performance: Improved object grasping, more stable gait, reduced sensory discomfort, and clearer speech with less fatigue
Role of NeuroReBorn™ Clinical Ultra
NeuroReBorn™ Clinical Ultra was incorporated as a supportive component within the rehabilitation framework. It was not intended to replace medical care or standard rehabilitation, but to support neuromuscular responsiveness and physiological regulation during structured training.
